I use Hollands QD brakes. $200 installed. A very worth while investment IMHO.

I have a mercury recoil tube in the stock of my 7mm RUM. Felt recoil is less than my 30.06, and, it doesn't destroy your eardrums if you don't have hearing protection in when hunting.

I had one put on my sendero 300RUM before I even shot it, if I had it all over to do again I wouldn't do it. Also I am very recoil sensitive, had jaw surgery back in 2000. I suppose if a person plans on shooting a whole lot then they might want one, but be sure to wear the ear protection cause they are very loud with the break.

More than recoil reduction a break protects the crown and also deadens the air in front of the muzzle. A great investment, but they are loud.
